S1:E20 The One with Feliz Navidad

Hey guys. 

Mary Christmas!!! Hope everyone had a good week. Just so everyone is aware, yes it is still Hot. Everything is going really good! We are working our tails off.

  

A little bit about Christmas week. On Christmas eve we went to our most recent converts house and ate dinner. Then we stayed at the other missionaries house for the night because the "busses" don't run on Christmas eve. Then we woke up and went to the city and ate waffles! It was awesome. Then we went and talked to our families. Finished the day with 3 baptisms!
  

I like my companion a lot right now a lot. We have really found our groove on how to teach and how to work. I am looking forward to the next few weeks and hopefully we find more baptisms.

S1:E19 The One Where I Ate a Raw Egg

Hey guys! 

Hopefully everyone had a good week. We are only 9 days until Christmas! Super exciting. This week we have a lot of things planned. We have all of our Christmas activities for the mission and I just can't wait.

 We worked really hard this week. I haven't really had time to describe my area but its big and there are a lot of hills. So by the end of the day I am beat. Oh and ya its 81 degrees today. 

 We have a lot of good investigators and they are progressing very well. All of them are new so we are teaching all of them the exciting stuff like the Restoration and the plan of salvation. I love those lessons because the people have all heard the plan of salvation before in the life before this. Also I love teaching about the Book of Mormon to the people who are from the Americas. 

 Okay I have some homework for everyone. First there is a motivational speech by a member. She is a silver medalist in the Olympics and it is really good! Second go watch the Book of Mormon videos. I learn so much from them.

 Finally last night with our zone we had a family home evening. We did a spiritual night and then played games. Well the games escalated a little bit. We were playing the game where you put the cookie on top of your forehead and you have to eat it without using your hands and the loser had to eat a raw egg. Sooo I lost. It super sucked.

S1:E18 The One With the New Companion

 Hey everybody!!! I

t's been a crazy week. I love my new comp and we get together really good. His name is Elder Gonzales and he is from Tijuana. He has been in the mission for 14 months. 

 I Baptised my first person! I have converted 3 people but this is the first time I have done the ordnance. His name is Heiros and he is really cool. He is 15 years old. He was so excited to be apart of the church and to be a member. 

 My new area is awesome. I swear I hike like miles and miles every day. It's really hard work. Also my new area has a ton of hills! which makes it really fun.

S1:E17 The One With Dia de Gracias

 Good afternoon!

Sorry guys that I haven't been able to write a whole lot the last few weeks, but I have just been crazy busy. We are just teaching as fast and as much as we possibly can. We have had some crazy experiences and some awesome lessons. All of our investigators are progressing very well. We are getting 2 families married, we are teaching 3 complete families, and a few individuals. December will definitely been a month of baptisms. 

 Thanksgiving was really fun. Now missionaries get to call home on Thanksgiving and that was fun! An investigator gave us KFC! It wasn't turkey but it definitely made me happy. Hopefully everyone had a good Thanksgiving.

 Unfortunately tomorrow the three white guys get split up... but that's okay. I get moved to another pueblo very close and I'm with a Latino. His name is Elder Gonzalez and he is from Tijuana. I know him really well and we really like each other.

What a great week. Don't have a ton of time to write again today. We have been working our butts off and we are finding results. We teach sooo many lesion and we have so many good investigators. Looking forward to hitting 4 months in the mission.
